10 Days Masai Mara, Amboseli & Zanzibar Beach Safari

You will be picked up in the morning by your driver-guide and begin your journey through the spectacular Great Rift Valley toward Kenya’s premier wildlife reserve—the Masai Mara. Upon arrival in the afternoon, check in at your safari lodge and settle in before heading out for a late afternoon game drive.
This is your first chance to encounter the renowned Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, and rhino—along with an impressive array of plains game and predators.

The Maasai Mara forms the northern extension of Tanzania’s Serengeti and is world-famous for its thriving wildlife populations and the dramatic Great Wildebeest Migration, which occurs between July and October. Optional Hot Air Balloon Safari:
Rise before dawn for a magical hot air balloon experience over the Mara. Watch the balloon inflate, then float silently above the savannah as the sun rises and wildlife roams below. After landing, enjoy a champagne breakfast in the bush before continuing your game drive.

Otherwise:
Begin your day with a warm morning beverage before setting out at sunrise for the best wildlife viewing conditions. Spend the entire day exploring the reserve in search of big cats, elephants, giraffes, antelope, and the many other species that inhabit this world-famous ecosystem.

After breakfast, depart for Lake Nakuru via the Great Rift Valley. Enjoy scenic stops, including the famous viewpoint, and learn about local tea and coffee farming as you ascend the valley walls. Arrive at Lake Nakuru in time for lunch.

Later, enjoy a game drive in search of lions, rhinos, leopards, buffalo, and the park’s vibrant birdlife. Lake Nakuru is globally known for its flamingos and as a sanctuary for endangered rhinos.

Return to your lodge before evening for dinner and overnight.
